The Challenge

HIBI Designs, known for their sleek keyboards and unique items like their Mahjong set, was preparing for an upcoming pop-up event. To complement their new product showcase, they wanted custom t-shirt merchandise for the event. The project was time-sensitive, requiring quick decisions on blanks, print designs, and production to ensure the merch was ready for the big day.

By Shade was brought in to assist with blank selection, finalize the tech pack, and handle production, all within a tight timeline of just three days.

The Process

Working closely with Katie and Andy, we ensured the process was seamless and efficient, delivering high-quality results on time.

Key Deliverables:

1. Blank Selection:

   • Advised the HIBI team on the best blank t-shirt options for their brand aesthetic. Together, we selected the AS Colour Heavy Faded Minus Tee, which aligned perfectly with the event's vibe and their overall brand.

2. Tech Pack Development:

   • Katie provided the print design, and our team compiled it into a detailed tech pack, including precise print placements and sizes for approval.

3. Production:

   • Printed the custom t-shirts, ensuring the quality of both the design and the tees matched HIBI’s high standards.
   • Completed the full run of t-shirts within 3 days, ensuring everything was ready just in time for the pop-up event.

4. Delivery:

   • Delivered the finished t-shirts directly to HIBI Designs before the event, providing a stress-free solution for this last-minute project.

The Result

Despite the short timeline, the HIBI Designs merchandise was completed on time and looked incredible at their pop-up event. The high-quality t-shirts reflected the brand’s attention to detail, while the AS Colour blanks and Katie’s design created a perfect combination that resonated with attendees.
