The Challenge
Pat James, the founder of Stay Driven, came to By Shade with a vision to launch a new lifestyle and automotive-inspired brand. With no existing assets, the challenge was to create a complete brand system from the ground up including logo, branding, and print design and translate that identity into a debut apparel collection. The outcome needed to feel premium, authentic, and ready to resonate with the culture from day one.

The Process
Pat had a clear passion for automotive culture, which guided the creative direction. We built the brand step by step, ensuring every detail aligned with his vision and positioned Stay Driven for success.
Key Steps:
- Brand Development: We designed the full identity system, including logo design, brand assets, and print packages.
- Product Design & Production: Designed the first collection, produced garments in Los Angeles, and managed custom garment labels, packaging, and hang tags.

The Result
The first Stay Driven collection launched to an overwhelming response selling out in just 48 hours. The cohesive brand identity, premium product design, and elevated packaging created a release that stood out and connected with its audience immediately.

Stay Driven is now preparing for its second collection, with By Shade continuing to lead branding, design, and production.
